Why you hatin? His album, Based On a T.R.U. Story, drops today. And as the video for "I Luv Dem Strippers" proves — featuring Nicki Minaj and cameos from T.I. and Young Jeezy at local strip club Diamonds of ATL — it's a damn doozy.
Much has been written about 2 Chainz' successful self-reinvention, but in a local context it's pretty amazing how he's contributed some much-needed cool points to Atlanta's long-stagnant mainstream rap scene. Who would've ever guessed that the artist formerly known as Tity Boi would give us cause to rise up? Only in the A.
