VIDEO: Rudy Currence becomes the new face of Kawai

Posted By on Wed, Sep 5, 2012 at 1:20 PM

Atlanta-based singer Rudy Currence — who’s signed to the Disturbing Tha Peace label — and the folks at Kawai Piano announced this week that Currence has been named as the new face of the renowned keyboard brand.

"We welcome Rudy to the Kawai family, and are proud to have him as an artist,” said Tom Love, senior director of online marketing and electronics for Kawai America and Kawai Canada. “We love the sophisticated sound and feel of his music ... [and] wish him much success in his endeavors!"

It’s Currence’s first official endorsement deal and, seeing as how he’s known for adeptly tinkling the ivories on stage, it seems like a fitting brand for an up-and-coming artist. Check him out rocking a Kawai live in the video above.
