After a very successful reunion show at Coachella, Glasgow Scotland's Jesus and Mary Chain decided it was time to go back out on the road with their signature, ear bending and blistering, distortion fed sound. They had been defunct since 1999. On Thursday night, they made a stop on their current sold out world tour at Variety Playhouse. Running through a crowd pleasing, 29 year career spanning catalogur of fan favorite songs such as "Just Like Honey", "Cracking Up", "Teenage Lust", "Sidewalking", "Reverence", and leaving the crowd wanting more after a finale of a deafening "Never Understand". The band was in great spirits with founding brothers Jim and William Reid, known for their sibling rivalry that would put the Oasis brothers to shame, joking and having a great time.
