Cartoons! What do Danny Brown, Prince, and Dave Chappelle have in common?

Pitchfork just debuted this new animated piece narrated and inspired by an interview with Detroit rapper Danny Brown in which he tells the story of the time he got gypped by a crackhead while selling crack. It's funny, but also kind of disturbing. "Pitchfork now turning black pathology into hilarious cartoons," as Byron Crawford blogged. You'll cry laughing. Or vice versa.

And speaking of cartoonery, check out last week's Grantland animation of the time Dave Chappelle, Questlove, and Neal Brennan met Prince at an after party shortly after the "Pancakes, Bitches!" episode aired on "Chappelle's Show." The golden pajamas take the (pan)cake.
