On October 30, Cee Lo Green will drop his first ever Christmas album. It's titled Cee Lo's Magic Moment and the album art is absurd as f*ck — even by Cee Lo standards. Instead of the traditional Santa suit, homeboy's pictured riding shotgun while a white-gloved reindeer chauffeurs him around in a red Rolls Royce Phantom convertible.
And that's just the cover. The LP will showcase Lo interpreting such holiday classics as “Silent Night,” “The Christmas Song,” “This Christmas,” "White Christmas," and — this one takes the fruitcake — “You’re a Mean One Mr. Grinch.”
Tis the season to be jolly and all, but Cee Lo really could get the last laugh on this one. With his growing recognition as the judge of "The Voice" and a guest lineup ranging from B.o.B to Rod Stewart (probably safe to assume the Goodie Mo. B will not be taking part), dude's aiming straight for the No. 1 album buying demographic (Middle America) during the biggest shopping season of the year. Some of the best selling albums of the past decade have been disposable Christmas LPs released by the likes of Clay Aiken, Josh Groban, Sarah McLachlan, Susan Boyle, and Michael Bublé.
Wait till they get a load of Loberace.
Beck and Alabama Shakes...that's about it. I'm sure there's an unknown or two I would…
Well, this years Music Midtown sucks!
I'm pretty sure he was 19.
3 people apparently love handing over an extra 40% in fees for nothing in return…
Dang. I thought they would name some actual headliners.
Forgot to mention that Iggy did a stellar show @ the Agora in the spring…
