In the end, the pyramid will stand about 10’ high with a 16’ wide base, and since the plan was hatched earlier this year it has blossomed into an interdisciplinary project of sorts, earning a grant from the Beltline as a temporary art installation. “I’ve never done anything like this before, at least not on this scale, but it feels wholesome,” Adron says. “It feels like something that Atlanta needs, and it’s good and educational for me to do something so ambitious. Strategically, it feels like a worthwhile endeavor,” she adds. "Hopefully it will reach a lot of people on the Internet and generate some excitement.
Funds raised via Kickstarter will cover the cost of building materials, production, lighting, flying Brown to Atlanta for the video shoot, and ultimately dismantling and possibly reinstalling the pyramid somewhere else when all is said and done.
