The story unfolds in a time when the planet has become so polluted and unsuitable for living that all of the rich folks have checked out — moved on to some distant off-world piece of real estate to scarf down champagne and caviar. In the meantime, the have-nots were left behind to fend for themselves, and in this negative Utopia manufactured clones keep keep the peace using sound as a weapon to keep the masses in line.
Without giving away too much of the story here, when Dillon and Boog discover that they are in fact clones themselves, the fight is on and the Martha Knuckles 45 becomes a deadly weapon in its own right. Think of it as new take on Blade Runner, Logan’s Run, Tron, et al. — not your typical hip-hop fodder but these aren't your typical rappers.
There's no release date set for the record yet as an Indiegogo pre-order campaign is currently underway, but it all comes to an end this week. So if you value a future where your ancestors won't be pushed around by a cloned army, join the fight before it's too late.
In the meantime, when the Martha Knuckles 45 gets pressed up on vinyl it will sport four songs, “Give Me Room,” “DET-ATL,” “One Two Y’all,” and “ATL-DET,” two of which have already made their way onto the Internet.
