The gods of Rocktober smiled on our fair city over the weekend, handing down a marathon of shows that kicked off with the brutal return of Swans in support of their latest album, the Seer, Friday at Terminal West, followed by Tav Falco and the Unapproachable Panthern Burns at Star Bar (pictured above), and they didn’t let up till the Afghan Whigs hit the stage on its first tour in well over a decade Saturday at Masquerade.
