Atlanta's Night Sun rises again with 'No Pressure'

After premiering at the Plaza Theatre's screening of Rebel Scum on October 18, Video Rahim's latest short film about the emerging group Night Sun appeared on YouTube last week.

A soulful collaboration between Cole Alexander of Black Lips and former Cee Lo Green backup singer Curtis Harding, Night Sun's formation was an organic one, with the paths of its respective members having crossed on a few different occasions. So far the results have been a catchy, funky couple of tracks, including "No Pressure," which straddle a sound that's equal parts Southern garage rock and gospel soul. Judging by the other potential collaborators revealed towards the end of this clip, Night Sun could rise rather quickly, as long as it doesn’t get eclipsed by each of its members’ steady gigs.
