Earlier this week, British music blog This Is Fake DIY premiered the video for Hello Ocho's "Party On A Raincloud." It's a slightly smoother version of the closing number from the group's self-titled album, which is due out sometime in January.
It's full of soft and dreamy, spiritual anticipation, wrapped in a dark and rhythmic excursion, punctuated by just enough ecstatic shouting to pique your ears and your synapses.
There is some nudity in the video, albeit subtle, and steeped in shadows. However, if you're watching this in your cubicle or office space, make sure that the faint of heart aren't looking over your shoulder.
Hello Ocho has been on the road over the last month or so, but the group will be back in town to play a house show at Merman Manor (333 Edgewood Ave.) with Baber, Abien, Louder Milk & Moon, and Frank Hurricane on Monday, November 12.
In the meantime you can hear another track from the album, "Stickin' To the Sheet," via the SoundCloud link below.
