Music news Eastside Lounge to close, reopen in February under new management

Eastside Lounge will soon close its doors, following its recent sale to a new owner.
The longstanding bar and music venue was a mainstay of East Atlanta Village's nightlife. Although the former Best of Atlanta pick has received praise for its eclectic and gyrating ways, it will temporarily shut down at the end of the year for at least one month.
The establishment, however, is expected to re-open sometime in February with a fresh look and new management. We reached out to the Eastside Lounge for more information, and we'll post an update if we hear any more details.
Kwasi Anderson, who regularly DJ's under the name Quasi Mandisco, will be spinning with special guests tonight to send off ESL.
