It's also a surf rock concept album, taking a surreal trip down the New England coastline. Bassist Mike Morgan explains:
"Escape To Crabhorse Island chronicles a band's journey out of Delaware, a heinous prison camp-like state, to Crabhorse Island, off the coast of Maryland, where top-hatted crabs dance in the moonlight by the millions, and the horses majestically devour them as they roam the beach at night. It is a jamtasmic tale of bravery, cunning, and smarm. I hope that no one is carried off by a skycrab while listening to 'Escape To Crabhorse Island,' as it has been known to summon them since ancient times."
