VIDEO The Residents: A visual primer

While working on this week's CL cover story, "The Residents: In the eye of the beholder," I found out that more people seem to know about the Residents' mythology than the music. It's understandable considering the group's 40-year history, which has resulted in about 80 proper albums. Choosing when and were to start can be a bit daunting. This 10-song video mixtape rounds up a few my favorite Residents numbers, and serves as an easy overview of the group's many eras, but it only scratches the surface.
