Toro Y Moi took the stage at the Masquerade on February 6 for the Atlanta leg of the group's current tour in support of Anything In Return (Carpark). Chaz Bundick, one of a handful of artists who are frequently linked to the rise of chillwave, brought a plethora of new tunes from his repertoire that find him bounding far beyond the pigeonhole. Much like the cover of the album, the hue of colorful lights on stage expertly mimicked the mellowed out aesthetic of Toro Y Moi's sound.
Atlanta's Dog Bite and Chicago's Wild Belle also performed.
Growing up, I was conditioned to loathe Elvis Presley. But it wasn't until years later that I really had to learn about Elvis beyond what I'd been told
