Sister act von Grey plays for Conan while prepping Record Store Day LP

Sisters and multi-instrumentalists with the surname, and band name, von Grey - Annika (vocals, violin, banjo, guitar, keys), Fiona (vocals, guitar, violin, percussion), Petra (keys, lap steel guitar, background vocals), and Kathryn (cello, bass, mandolin, keys, background vocals) - have a big month in store. First, von Grey is set to appear as hometown talent on Tuesday, April 2 during a week of Tabernacle shows being recorded by Conan O'Brien. After that, the group will see the release of a limited-edition Record Store Day LP, Live at Criminal Records 01.01.13 on April 20, which, at 12 tracks, more than doubles the amount of music that's already available on the foursome's independently released debut EP.

After that, they have a full schedule of live shows on the books, while planning the release of the group's proper debut album, due out later this year. It can't arrive too soon, though. Von Grey's latest single, "Coming for You," released in October, was the second most-added song on Triple A Radio, behind Mumford & Sons.

Von Grey plays Criminal Records on Saturday, April 20, and on Sun., April 21 at the Atlanta Dogwood Festival in Piedmont Park.
