Tunes from the Tombs returns for its third go-round of music and revelry in Atlanta’s oldest cemetery on Saturday, June 8. Presented by and serving as a fundraiser for the Historic Oakland Foundation, the event features an eclectic mix of local acts, including Blair Crimmins and the Hookers, the 4th Ward Afro-Klezmer Orchestra, Atlanta Funk Society, Bird City Revolutionaries, the Bonaventure Quartet (featuring Amy Pike), Caroline and the Ramblers, Roxie Watson, Slim Chance and the Convicts, Rolling Nowhere, Little Country Giants, Wasted Potential Brass Band, and more.

The gleefully grim series has been streamlined down from two days to one this year, but the macabre merriment of taking in the sounds surrounded by the dearly departed remains. Additional details and set times are still falling into place, but tickets are already available via Ticket Alternative.

UPDATE: Atlanta Funk Society will no longer be performing at this year’s Tunes From the Tombs.
