Second annual IMR Music Fest returns to Atlanta

Posted By on Tue, Aug 6, 2013 at 10:23 AM

Indie Music Reviewer is an online magazine that features music from independent musicians all over the country. The second annual Indie Music Reviewer Music Festival is hosted right here in Atlanta with over four nights of music at venues around the city. The IMR Fest gives Atlanta an opportunity to experience a variety of talent spanning many genres of local music, from folk and electronic sounds, to more straight-ahead indie rock.

The kickoff party is this Wednesday at Star Bar, featuring performances by Edgewood Nasty, Strange Planet, and more. A special VIP show for three-day pass holders is scheduled for Thursday night at the Cottage with Small Reactions (featured above) headlining. Two nights of local talent plus some out-of-towners, including Hank & Cupcakes, will be playing at the Basement on Friday and Saturday as well. A new addition to this year's festival is the Singer/Songwriter Sunday show which will be held at Smith's Olde Bar.

IMR Music Festival - the Basement, Smith's Olde Bar, the Cottage - August 8-11. One day pass $10, three-day pass (Aug. 8-10) $20, four-day pass $25.
