El Bar’s rock night returns
Atlanta’s newest themed DJ event is an old one, as El Bar’s Rock Night ends a five year hiatus tonight.
At a time when rock DJ nights, be it DKA’s Goth Danse Parties at 529 or Star Bar’s Rock ‘n’ Roll Blackout, seem to be popular in Atlanta with club owners and patrons, a precursor to these events returns. El Bar, located at 939 Ponce de Leon Ave. (underneath El Azteca), hosts its first Rock Night in five years tonight, starting at 10 p.m. DJs for the first in what’s expected to be a series of monthly events include Chris Daresta (DKA), Damon Hare (Triple D’s Productions), and Valentina Tapia (YALLA BINA DJs, Shantih Shantih).
