Dog Bite brings in 'Cold Weather'

Posted By on Tue, Oct 22, 2013 at 10:32 AM

Winter is coming, so embrace the plunging temperatures with Dog Bite's breezy new video, released yesterday. Filmed by Tony Summerlin and edited by bassist Woody Shortridge, "Cold Weather" is the melancholy first music video and single off the shoegaze band's recently-dropped LA EP (Carpark Records).

The greyscale video features dissolved and superimposed images of wispy clouds, textured light, and close-ups of frontman Phil Jones - all entangled to project a thoroughly atmospheric quality that matches the reverb-drenched sound. Moody guitar melodies and crisp drum loops seamlessly blend with drifting, dissipating visuals, creating an introspective five-and-a-half-minute film.
