Washed Out, ‘All I Know’
Washed out Plays New Year’s Eve. at Terminal West.
Follow two young friends on a road trip to California in Washed Out’s video treatment for his latest single “All I Know.” Directed by Daniel Kragh-Jacobsen the intro begins a bit uncomfortably, much like the song’s lyrics, when one of the boys receives some unsettling news about an old lover. Home video frames are laid between pale colored moments during their journey before one of the friends settles the score.
Ernest Green, aka Washed Out, graduated from University of Georgia before returning to his home in Perry where he recorded his debut project Within and Without before releasing this summer’s follow up Paracosm. “All I Know,” much like most of Green’s work is full of dreamy soundscapes and gusty lyricism.
