Ghost Trees, Penny Royale, and Circle Ensemble play Eyedrum

Ghost_Trees.jpg
In the 2000s, Brent Bagwell and Seth Nanaa played as two-thirds of the Eastern Seaboard, but while that group dissolved, the tenor sax/percussion duo lives on in the free jazz afterworld as Ghost Trees. At times, their playing resembles the interplay of Archie Shepp and Beaver Harris, reflective, yet strong.

Tonight (Fri., March 7). $5. 9 p.m. Eyedrum, 115 Martin Luther King Jr. Drive SW, Suite 225
