This week, the A3C Hip-Hop Fest announced the first of what will presumedly be many news blasts regarding the lineup for its 10th anniversary (Oct. 8-12), and they’re coming out of the gate strong.

This year, the Duck Down BBQ returns featuring performances by Boot Camp Clik with Sean Price, Buckshot, Smif N Wesson, Vashtie, and many more on Sat., Oct. 11. Black Thought (the Roots) with J. Period headline the second annual Best Block Party Ever on Edgewood Ave. on Sun., Oct. 12. The Lox (aka Jadakiss, Styles P, and Sheek Louch), Scarface, Mystikal and Juvenile, Jarren Benton, Cyhi the Prynce, Project Pat, Prince Paul, Masta Ace, Cormega, Da Beatminerz, and others are also on deck for this year’s fest — all told, 500 acts will be performing this year.

In addition to live performances, DJ/producer Young Guru will lead a panel discussion on "What does the culture of a place sound like?" More panels are in the works as well as the A3C Vol. 4 comp., due to be released Oct 7.

Stay tuned for more artists as well as more panel information to be announced soon.

Festival passes are available from $55 to $275.

CL has discount all-access A3C passes available for $100 (normally $150) via Loaf Deals. There's a $60 (normally $100) pass of just the music portion of the fest via Loaf Deals as well.
