‘Hippy Trash’ captures scenes from Concord America’s raucous summer tour

Rising garage-pop trio Concord America has spent a lot of time on the road this summer, touring in support of its Post-Echo-released EP, Suns Out Guns Out. The group’s latest video, a performance of “Hippy Trash” from its July tour, finds the guys playing fuzzed-out garage rock at breakneck speed. The camerawork is a little shaky, but the band’s raucous live energy comes across loud and clear.?

Before wrapping up the summer with a few more out-of-town dates, including an appearance at the Paper City Music Festival in Chillicothe, Ohio, the band is playing a show this Sat., Aug. 16, at 529.?
