Dylan, 73, once again had a very busy past year. In 2014 he played close to 100 shows including stops in Japan, Hawaii, Ireland, Turkey, Greece, Romania, Slovakia, Austria, Germany, Czech Republic, Poland, Denmark, Norway, Sweden, Finland, New Zealand, Australia, including nearly 30 shows on stages across the United States.

This year has already proven to be quite epic for Dylan fandom. In February, the normally media-shy Dylan spoke for more than half an hour during the 2015 MusiCares event at which he was honored as Person of the Year.

Dylan was introduced by former President Jimmy Carter who said that Dylan’s life work was “much more powerful and much more permanent than any president of the United States.” Dylan also gave his first interview in nearly three years to AARP and released an album of cover songs all of which were played by Frank Sinatra, which has received some very positive reviews.

Hear some of the latest album, Shadows In the Night.
