Punk Black is an independent rock organization with an allegiance to non-conformity and DIY aesthetics, and remains dedicated to nurturing, promoting, and encouraging people of color to create art within rock sub genres. Tonight (Fri., Jan. 29), as part of its monthly series, Punk Black bends genre boundaries by hosting a lineup that includes performances by Howling Star, Escape Route 23, Pussyfoot, Another-Gypsy, Detroit Mutant Radio, and more, along with DJs and local art vendors.
