A fluctuating lineup and a couple of cross-country moves — from New York to Seattle and back again — have not derailed singer and guitarist Kait Eldridge’s vision for Big Eyes. Instead, the band sounds as fierce and focused as ever on “Local Celebrity” b/w “When You Were 25.” The group’s first release since a 2014 split with Post-Teens was unveiled online last October by Don Giovanni Records. It has since gotten the limited vinyl treatment via Greenway Records.

Both tracks follow the Big Eyes tradition of gritty punk chock full of melodies, a sound often likened to the Muffs. Better yet, the single has netted a zombie mini-movie for “Local Celebrity” and a much more light-hearted promo video for “When You Were 25.”

Big Eyes, Rad-Isaurus Rex, and Pretty Boy play 529 tonight (Wed., Feb. 10). $7. 9 p.m. 529 Flat Shoals Ave. www.529atlanta.com.
