This is the sort of weekend that can make you fall in love with Atlanta's art scene. The latest collaboration from Lauri Stallings and glo ATL will premiere in the arteries of the Lennox Square Mall, Castleberry Hill's always-dependable Art Stroll happens tonight, Eyedrum is screening erotic films all weekend long, and the list goes on.

Friday
Lauri Stallings and glo ATL kick off their latest dance collaboration, Bloom, at the Lennox Square Mall at 7 pm tonight. The site-specific performance will combine a troupe of dancers and multimedia artists to create a physical work that should be unlike any shopping mall experience you've ever had. This is also the first project of the newly founded Flux Projects. The performance will continue throughout the weekend, Flux Projects has the details.
The Castleberry Hill Art Stroll falls tonight. This will be the last Art Stroll for Gallery Stokes, which is calling it quits after two and a half years. Events include a pushpin benefit for Haiti at Artist Trifecta, an iron pour at Elliot St. Pub, and more. For a full schedule and details, visit Art Stroll.
The CinErotic Film Festival features three nights of sex positive films at Eyedrum. The work ranges from recent shorts from local artists to legendary classics arranged into three themed nights. "Queer as Fuck" kicks off the programming on Friday, "Passion and Pleasures" on Saturday, and "Kink-O-Matic" on Sunday. The annual studio cruise at the Rail Arts District begins at 2 pm and continues into the night. This map has the details.
Over in Decatur, The Seen Gallery is featuring a group show of printmaking work. Thirty five artists from Atlanta, GA and Asheville, NC will exhibit work inspired by the life and ideas of Charles Darwin.
Beep Beep Gallery opens their first ever sculpture show, Material, featuring work from Lucha Rodriguez,Romy Maloon, Crystal Wagner, Chase Folsom, and Jessica Orlowski. Reception begins at 8 pm.
