Comedy ATL Comic Profile: Dan Weeks

Dan Weeks has been a staple of Atlanta's local comedy scene since 2006, soaking up stage time at any venue available. His comedy is a transcendental trip through Happyland, making it hard not to laugh at everything he says because he's amiable even in angst. With material that playfully covers everything from karate dojos in Alpharetta to the brilliance of Animal Planet's "Shark Week," his hard-to-take-seriously persona makes even his blue material endearing. By the end of his set you will hurt from laughing with and/or at one of the silliest citizens of the ATL.

A lil' Joke: "I was at the store today and bought a package of 30 condoms, and when I brought them to the counter, the lady at the counter scoffed at me. I don't know if it's because I was buying 30 condoms or because i tried to give her a high-five. I guess that's not a good time to give a high five... another time it's not cool to give a high-five is to a cop after you've just blown under a .08. Like, '.079 bitches! I'll take those keys playa'. "

My friends and I have seen Mr. Weeks on serveral occasions and he has always kept us on the floor laughing everytime. HE"S TREMENDOUS!!!
we saw him for the first time at Smith's olde bar for the Seriously funny show Seriously...... He was one of the ones that got us hooked! Thanks for bringing comedy to my backyard, Seriously!
as a seriously funny groupie...seriously; i've seen dan weeks in action on stage and off. the kid's got jokes!
