When Tim Heidecker and Eric Wareheim of Cartoon Network’s “Tim and Eric Awesome Show, Great Job!” started a website in 2002 to make friends laugh with their comedy sketches and video Christmas presents, grandiose plans were not in place. Fast forward eight years, and not only do the Pennsylvania-born comics have their own sketch comedy show on TV, but they also have their own Christmas special, both on TV and as a live show.
This Sun., Dec. 5, in Atlanta marks the last stop on their tour, Tim and Eric Awesome Tour, Great Job! Chrimbus Spectacular 2010, with musical guest Pusswhip Banggang and comic Neil Hamburger at Variety Playhouse, as well as the midnight premiere of their hour-long “Chrimbus Spectacular” on Cartoon Network.
