Humanitarian of the Year

Posted By on Fri, Sep 29, 2006 at 3:19 PM

Neal Boortz just told his listeners: "Don't pamper the poor. We need to punish them. We need to make their lives miserable."

Nice. He neatly summed up his political philosophy and the political philosophy of many of his listeners. Think about it: That's what some of our fellow Georgians will be thinking about as they decide who to vote for this November: How best to "punish the poor."

Was it not appropriate that CL named him "Best Person You Love to Hate" in this week's Best Of Atlanta issue?
