Ignorance is Chambliss

Posted by Andisheh Nouraee on Wed, May 9, 2007 at 1:28 PM

"Every time I go over there the improvements in the conditions are truly amazing,"

-- Sen. Saxby Chambliss, R-Ga., on his visit to Iraq last weekend.

What Chambliss doesn't realize is he actually visited Bizarro Iraq: a blissful, parallel-universe Iraq designed and built by the Bush administration to impress Republican senators.

This guy neeeds to be defeated in next year's senate race because of crazy, neo- conservative like these he is making & he doesn't have the guts to stand up to president bush. Jim Marshall, Sanford Bishop, Jim Butler, will someone please step up to the plate & kick this man out of office.

Only goes to show - you don't even have to be intelligent to run for public office.

Andi, I think I'll take the word of somebody who's actually BEEN TO IRAQ over some leftist 'journalist' and his peanut gallery. While you're noshing on burgers at Varsity and clogging your arteries, people like Saxby (god I do hate that fucking name though...is he a Godzilla villian?) are visiting Iraq and reporting on whats up.

Describe to me a single quantifiable way in which Iraq has improved between Sen. Chambliss's first visit and his fifth visit. You know my e-mail address.
