MASSEUR/PROSTITUTE/AUTHOR MIKE JONES AT OUTWRITE: “Ted Haggard’s hypocrisy was huge.â€
Before a team of religious counselors “cured†him of his fever for the flavor of the phallus, evangelical preacher and prominent anti-gay activist Ted Haggard allegedly had a three-year sexual relationship with masseur and gay prostitute Mike Jones.
Jones stopped by Outwrite Books in Midtown last Friday to promote his memoir of the affair, I Had to Say Something: The Art of Ted Haggard’s Fall. Jones explained to 40 or so in attendance that he violated the sacred code of prostitute-john confidentiality because Haggard’s active campaigning against homosexual rights was more hypocrisy than he could swallow.
