Despite pressure from Moscow, and her apparent inability to correctly spell the name Julia, Yulia Tymoshenko was recently selected by Ukraine's Parliament to become the country's new prime minister.
It's not the sort of thing I'd considered mentioning on this blog, until my colleague and cubicular neighbor Scott Henry forwarded me a link to Tymoshenko's personal website, which includes glamour shots of the ostentatiously braided 47-year-old politician, sized for use as computer desktop wallpaper.
