MTV has tapped Atlanta SuperBlogger Shelby Highsmith to cover the 2008 presidential campaign in Georgia for Choose or Lose '08, the network's political programming aimed at young voters.

the title "everybody loves shelby" would have been appropriate, given the previous entry. but really, this is strange to me. i know shelbinator. he dated my best friend. i spent the weekend at his parents' country club in north carolina. he made me a hot totty. he chided me for playing guitar while people were golfing. still, he's a good blogger. i'm glad somebody finally gave the rocket scientist a job.

dislikeThe original title was, in fact, Everybody loves Shelby. Then I changed it to the Tila Tequila reference. Then I saw he made a similar reference on his blog. Then I felt silly.
