Good work, ya bunch of nonflushin', brown-lawn ownin', dehydrated lovable lugs. From the city's Department of Watershed Management:
February 8, 2008 â Atlantaâs residents and businesses heeded Mayor Shirley Franklinâs call to conserve during January, using an average of 81.26 million gallons of water a day (mgd), .25 percent under the Cityâs target of 81.47 mgd. (These numbers reflect production from the Hemphill and Chattahoochee water treatment plants; the Cityâs share of the North Area Treatment Plant production is not included since that plant has its own river withdrawal permit.)
