Jason: The new Movies ATL near Camp Creek Parkway is a little low-budget. I went to see I Am Legend and instead of having movie posters on the wall, they had photocopies of the newspaper ad. They really went bargain basement. Itâs like a walk-in drive-in. [The best is] Buckhead Backlot. You can sit and drink a beer. If they wouldnât turn the lights up at the end and make you pay your check, it would be perfect.
Nisha: [The best is] Perimeter. You can actually lift the armrest. You can cuddle and you can get comfy. Itâs for high school kids that want to score. [The worst] is the IMAX at Mall of Georgia. I guess we had a bad experience. We watched a bad movie, Batman Begins, and it seemed like Batman was very, very close to my face. I was getting a headache. Your neck hurts. You canât really see whatâs going on.
Mark: [The best is] Plaza Theatre. You can have a beer next door at the Righteous Room. The crowd is always fun to watch. You got punks, hipsters and drag queens. Not many places you can go and see all those people. [The worst is] Atlantic Station. It reflects everything bad about this country. Itâs movies Hollywood wants you to see, bad concessions, discourteous people. Itâs a factory. They get you in, take you through the process and get you out.
