News Grandmothers arrested trying to enlist in the Army

Ten local grandmothers, aged 57 to 80, were arrested for trespassing today after attempting to enlist in the U.S. Army at a recruitment office at Midtown Place Shopping Center.
“We are volunteering to enlist so our young soldiers can come home now and be protected from further death and maiming,†said 80-year-old Doris Benit of Kennesaw, one of those arrested.
After the grandmothers were asked to leave, but before they were arrested and placed in police wagons, they chanted and sang anti-war songs as well as "We Shall Overcome."
The attempted enlistment was part of an effort to bring attention to the ongoing war in Iraq, which began five years ago this Wednesday.
More than 30,000 American servicemen and servicewomen have been killed or wounded in Iraq. According to the World Health Organization, the war has killed at least 151,000 Iraqis.

America : Protest (i.e. volunteer to get arrested), make national news, be home by dinner and go to sleep in your own bed with a warm fuzzy feeling that you made a real difference. Bonus, you can be the toast of cocktail parties for years to come. Saddams Iraq: Women protest the government, no one sees it, disappear forever.
Freedom of speech does NOT mean that you can commandeer someone elses property for your own purposes. Had they been on their own property no one would have objected to their protest. And by commandeering anothers property for their own gain, they were in fact the suppressors. They were in effect forcing their will on the property owner and tenants thus depriving them of life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. They should have been arrested for refusing to leave the premisis. That is why we are in Iraq Mr Sugg.
