You said it dude. Finally, someone with a brain and a very large megaphone talks honestly about modern race relations. If he doesn't win the nomination, I am doing what any self-respecting white person would do and threatening to move to Canada. Much like 2004, I won't actually do it, but the threat will make me feel better.
We're used to candidates from Nixon to Clinton and beyond exploiting race for their own benefit. Instead of dodging the controversy to advance his campaign, Obama saw an opportunity and seized it in a way no politician has before. I would love someone to quelch a concern of mines and A LOT of potential backers. How can we reconcile the fact if one single tape exists of Mr. Obama in Trinity Baptist during one of these "fiery" speeches that this will end his campaign. How are we to be sure that the Republicans aren't holding on to that one until the general election?
