News Urban Explorer Atlanta needs you

CL's Urban Explorer site went live in the wee hours (thanks largely to the lonely late-night work of online producer Edward Adams). But we need you to test it and to give us feedback. Puh-leez. It'll just take a minute.
AtlUrbex is a very rich guide to the best Atlanta's intown neighborhoods have to offer. But it'll be much more informative if it's enriched with user-generated content. Just go to the site, navigate to your favorite neighborhood, find your favorite restaurant, shop, attraction, etc., and post a commenting at that location. If you don't find a location that ought to be there, let us know by going to "submit your hot spot."
We'd also love your help in telling us what's missing when it comes to features, what functions don't work the way they should, and what can be designed better. So, how 'bout it, Dale and Victor, Odd Ogg and Mr. Peepers? Please, do your part. Or, as you know, the terrorists will win.

Pretty cool site but there does seem to be some bugs w/ the maps. I submitted some Midtown suggestions as well. In the map view if you click on Sandy Springs it gives you a map of the world w/ a small flag for where SS is. Old Roswell, Buford Hwy gives you a map of downtown. East Atlanta displays downtown Decatur
Mr. T knows Atlanta so well that I'm sure he's already been to every single place listed on Urbex. Somewhere out there, he's not crying; he's laughing. Laughing at us all. Thanks for the feedback and suggestions, Broderick. (Geez, Dale: Make yourself useful. You of all people should be telling us where to go ... )
how about overlaying the marta bus routes that serve the various neighborhoods. even tho' many aren't accessible by train, many are by bus. i just took marta right into the heart of stone mountain. the site and the issue were great btw....
Just to echo Broderick I just checked out West End / AUC listings. The picks are great, though on my map many of the markers are misplaced. For example, the Shrine and Queen City (nice! Has anyone else seen their "marketing" guy with the sandwich board?) appear several blocks south of their real-life locations. Same with Chanterelle's. Also, the button for the Grounds is mostly obscured by the Fashion Industry. I'm glad that the Grounds made it on your list, but I wouldn't have seen it had I not zoomed in real close looking for it. Otherwise, awesome job.
Thanks for that feedback, y'all. We're working on the mapping problems -- both the fact that the wrong areas are showing up for the neighborhoods and the pins aren't landing on the right spots. Ed tells me there appear to be multiple reasons this is happening. We're hashing out a few additional improvements as well (including more fotos), and we'll continue to add listings as appropriate. I'm glad folks are enjoying it; it's going to get better and better.
Oh, I'll be glad to tell you where to go...haha I will chime in when the work schedule drops a bit and I finish recovery next week. Nothing serious but I will be offline for about a week.
