Beltline bicycle tour on Earth Day

Posted by Thomas Wheatley on Wed, Apr 2, 2008 at 9:38 PM

The Atlanta Bicycle Campaign, a nonprofit organization dedicated to bringing together people and their velocipedes, has opened registration for its first annual bike ride around the Beltline from 1-4 p.m. on Sunday, April 20 — which just happens to be Earth Day.

Details from the group:

  • Choose your own distance -- ride anywhere from 4-22 miles — perfect for families and groups of friends!
  • Take part in the Scavenger Clue Hunt and be entered to win prizes
  • Free water bottle for all participants
  • Interesting and informative Beltline visuals along route
  • And of course, plenty of rest stops with refreshments!
  • Much more information is available on ABC's Web site, including the different rides, starting points, and tips, as well as attachments you can download.
