Some folks up in Rome, Georgia, found a six-legged deer. Could it be linked to PCB contamination?

Studies have found that polychlorinated biphenyls, a toxic chemical that General Electric scattered around north Georgia (including a barrel full of the stuff that turned up next to a Rome barn), can lead to animal deformities in the embryonic stage.

From here on out, when driving through north Georgia, be on the lookout for birds that look like this.
