Obama's Georgia campaign opens more hope depots

Posted by Thomas Wheatley on Sat, Aug 30, 2008 at 8:12 PM

Barack Obama's campaign is not playing around in the Peach State. Just weeks after announcing 15 new offices in Georgia, the Democratic presidential nominee opened four more today, bringing the grand total in the state to 31.

“Our goal is to reach every corner of this state and every Georgian with our movement for change,” said Georgia Obama for America State Director Antwaun Griffin. “It doesn’t matter if you’ve not voted for a Democrat before or even if you’ve never voted before. We are asking for you to join us and make this your campaign.”

I don't want "change". I want real answers lead by people that have had a history of reform. McCain-Palin 2008

A history of reform? The only thing McSame has reformed is his own position on every issue. Other than that, he's backed GWB 90% of the time, oh, except when he didn't. And I can just see beauty queen Palin standing toe-to-toe with Putin. She the one who believes that abortion should be a crime even in cases of rape or incest. She won't admit that global warming is man-made, favors drilling in ANWR (something that Bush's own Energy Information Agency has said will yield no positive results on gas prices whatsoever - but guess who does benefit!) and does not believe that anything but creationism should be taught in schools. And by the way she's under investigation for 1) firing her former public safety director because he refused to fire her ex-brother in law and 2) illegally using state funds to create a web-site favoring a bill in the state legislature. Way to go John! That's the kind of leadership and snap decision making that we need after 8 disastrous years. What a joke and an insult to women, and to the intelligence level of the whole country!
