Glad to see you using Steve Sweny again. His humor goes right to the point. Always liked his artwork.

Artists, whether on the left or on the right, are generally scared shitless to make a political comment from the gut, and if so, rarely get published. Steve Sweny is not afraid to express his thoughts... and with artistic talent.

Just because your a local weather girl, 4 years on the city council and 6 years as the mayor of a town with less than 7,000 people, 20 months as the governor of a state with only 650,000 people, may not make you qualified to become the country's second highest ranking executive. But i don't think it makes you a nasty, scatological and low rent Pig. i choked on my bagel. After all she"s just a nice mom that doesn't believe in dinosaurs .

Very 21st Century, this illustration nonetheless harkens back to the pointed political satire of Thomas Nast and David Levine. Like the portrait of Kramer on “Seinfeld”—it is hideous, but I can’t take my eyes off it.(This comment somehow was posted under the Brian Nichols blog).
