News Bob Barr in the New Yorker

Following CL's lead, the New Yorker also has a feature story on Bob Barr this week.

It's pretty good, but they spelled his name wrong.

Is this meant to be a joke? While CL is writing articles about Presidential Candidates, The New Yorker is writing articles about cartoon elephants? Or did somebody actually mistake an article about Babar for being about Bob Barr?
