Shower, massage, and sex?

Posted by Andisheh Nouraee on Mon, Sep 22, 2008 at 6:33 PM

I'm doing an experiment in open-source reporting.

I'm putting together a story attempting to de-mystify various activities often lumped together as vice. A couple weeks ago, I asked about open-air drug markets.

Today I'm asking about jack-shacks.

Did I say jack-shacks?

I meant to say "spas" — the kind that are usually windowless, neon-lit and adjacent to adult video stores.

I've gathered about as much information as I can without going in one.

Based on phone calls, I've figured out they commonly offer showers, body shampoos and massage for approximately $60/per hour.

I'm all for experiential stunt reporting, but getting a massage just to see if I'm offered sex is definitely not on my to-do list.

Here's my question to readers — have any of you ever been to one? Would anyone be willing to share their stories? What's the etiquette? What does $60 include? Is $60 the total package, or do they upsell you after you arrive? Are potentially illegalities unspoken, or are they direct with you once they determine you're a not a cop?

Comment here, e-mail me at andisheh@creativeloafing.com, or give me a call at work at 404-614-1888. Anonymity guaranteed. I don't want to cause anyone grief. I just want to have a candid talk about things that are hidden in plain sight.

I've not been to one, but if you'll cover expenses and give me some guidelines, I'll be happy to be a pinch-hitter. SRSLY.

I was going to volunteer but you know my wife. I still think you can get the Rev. Dr. to do it. And he's a former reporter to boot.

Definite upsell Very direct once you are. $ 60 doesn't get any "options". A friend was a vice cop.

BTW, does anyone know why there are so many of these "massage" parlors in and around Macon? In Houston they advertise their services as "executive stress relief". Seriously.

If "extras" are only provided with an "upsell", does that mean I could theoretically just stop in for a shower if my water ever goes out. I mean, $60 is cheaper than a Holiday Inn.

I have been to a few. Normally the $60 fee is for a table shower where you are completly naked and they literally wash your whole body. Often they are very scantily dressed and will experiment in this area to see what type of person you are. They may spend extra time around your butt and penis area and see what your reation is. If it's not embarrasment or angry, but rather you smile or say that feels good, etc, then that will tell them what your there for. Nothing will happen here though. After the shower, you will go back to the room and they will massage your back. Shortly after they will ask you to turn over and then ask what you wan't. Some will come out and say do you want handjob, blowjob, or sex. It kinda depends on how they "read" you and what the risk is. Some will expect you to say what you want. At this point, they will ask for more money. If you have none, then the massage is over. If it's enough then you get what you want. Normally $100 extra will get you everything, but sometimes lower. When you first walk in, the massage person will ask you if you have ever been here before. Don't lie. If you have then cool, if not, just tell them so. Then they will ask if you know what to expect. If you have never been but know what to expect then things will go smoother. If you don't know what to expect, then expect an awkward moment but if you convince them your not a cop then things will progress, although sometimes they take less risk for new clients. Overall if you only want a massage then you will only be there for about 30 min including shower, regardless if they tell you $60 a hour. One once told me(because I didnt bring enough "tip" to get other services) that "I can't just massage you for an hour!" when I mentioned we still had 30 min. Well that's about it. If you have any other questions, let me know.

I have been to a lot of these places and the massages are great and very profesional. However their is one I will not go back to. I have been offered hand jobs and accepted. This is a great way to end a massage. Most of the time the person giving the massage automatically gives a hand job without asking. I give what ever tip I want to. I do think that these places get a bad rap from people. These are better than massage envy.

The $60 or what ever is asked for up front, goes to the house (spa, mamasan) and depending what you want on the flip its usually $50-$80 for HJ or BJ and $100 for FS. Sometimes you can get backdoor for another $100. Usually she sees if your interested in extras by getting sexy with your backside to see if you respond and if you do extras are offered. Table shower is a table with a drain hole in it that allows them to lather you up for a HJ on the table and is usually free with the massage. My guess is that 100% of the places that offer table shower offer extras. In the orient it is a common practice to offer a table shower as it is so hot and humid it gets you clean before the girls put a big smile on your face. LOL

I have been to similar places in Thailand...but for gay guys. Very similar to the descriptions above but these other places serve "sausage" instead of "fish."

If I am going to pay 60 bucks, I want more than my hands massaged. How much can your hands stand after 2 or 3 minutes? I mean, 30 minutes to an hour? Get real.

I started getting massages about 10 years ago and experienced nothing but clean and covered massages for the first 9 years. But ever since the economy has tanked, I've looked for other providers because my usual 2 or 3 charge more than I can fit in my budget.

This past year I've been to 3 other places that I don't normally go to and can tell you some sure signs to look for even without walking into the joint.

1. Price point - $60 and cash only
2. Open really late - anything open after 9pm
3. Technical skills - if you've had a real licensed massage, you can tell when someone is just rubbing you errantly.
4. The flip - if your junk isn't covered when you flip over an upsell is definitely on the way.

Wow this is an old thread but in many ways far more interesting than politics.

RE: tablefun

i can't tell if you were joking... but if not, a hand job isn't quite a massage for your hands, haha.

i've been to many massage pallors over the years, from my tour in Vietnam, until now. All have provided me with an sensational hands or blow-jobs. Average price has been, lately, between $50-$65 per/hr. The relaxation and blowing my load has been super terrific to say the least...

In Houston, most of these woman have been trafficked illegally and are modern day slaves. Tje pimps charge them $50 for a bar of soap and other items are as high and they have to "work" off the debt. It is sick!

a table shower is very nice!
you can get one before or after your massage,i chose to get mine before the massage, its a great ice breaker, you disrobe then lay on your belly on the table, then the nice asian girl or lady pours warm/hot water all over your body then useing lots of liquid soap or shower gel lathers up your whole backside pay close attention to you butt hole and ball sack then more water is poured over you and then its time to turn over and all steps are repeated, with lots of attention to the penis and balls, they get very clean after this soapy massage!
then she towels you off,now time for a happy ending massage!
as far as price goes;if you pay for a one hour massage a table shower is included, most 1hr massages run from $50-80.
table showers are a great and relaxing experience, these nice asian girls make you feel like royalty!
you can find more info about table showers and Asian Massage Parlors, and happy ending massages at, http://mpr411.info

For guys who don't have time to date...or just don't want the hassle...these places are great. You'll spend this much money on a date in hopes of getting laid anyway. This way you get your nut...she gets the money and you walk away super relaxed without worry about having to call her and a million other dating protocols. These places should be super legal...tax it...regulate it ... and just let the guy get his mental, emotional and physical therapy done. I think that whats good for the goose is good for the gander...you ladies need to get your nut...or whatever you would call it....what would you call the female version of a jack shack?

asian massage does not equal jackshack. A table shower available is the key difference, and how they are dressed. In Atlanta 90% of the chinese massage places are massage only. 99% of the Korean are anything goes.

I'd call it a Bean-Hut (as in, flick your bean) for women. Or maybe a Twat-tent.

I've thought long (I wish) and hard about a name for a female jackshack, and.....after great debate, settled upon a fairly obvious, yet so appropriate, suggestion:

Fingerhut
