Rival publisher offers $1 million for CL

Patrick Best

Patrick Best, a former CL ad director and publisher of The Sunday Paper, has publicly offered to buy Creative Loafing for $1 million.

I assumed Best's offer was a joke, until I located this video footage, recorded during a recent Sunday Paper staff meeting.

Further research has also unearthed evidence suggesting Best has made a similar purchase attempt on at least one previous occasion.

i dont understand...i found this article from my tomatillo sauce listserv. what does this have to do with tomatillo sauce? is the sunday paper an authority on southern style tomatillo sauce? my tomatillo sauce making often results in uncontrollable heat. im just trying to find some way to adjust my heat. this diversion is not helpful.

The SP is a piece of junk -- bad writing, riddled with errors and hard to look at.
