News Decatur ferret seeks playdate

OK, I know this is a weird one but we have a ferret who could seriously use aplaydate with another ferret....does anyone have a ferret that needs exercise?

Sorry, I don't have a ferret to play with yours, but this just brought back one of the most bizarre things that has happened to me since I moved back to Atlanta. When I first moved back here about four years ago, I was just getting back into dating after an 8-year relationship followed by a 2-year hiatus. I met this dude at the gym who seemed pretty cool, and we made plans to meet at a Starbucks and then go to a movie. He arrived a little late; I was sitting on the patio outside. He said he was going to run in and get a coffee...and he never returned. I tried calling but his phone was off, so I texted him, "wtf?" About an hour later, I received a reply: a picture message of a white ferret wearing a blue sweater. I never saw or heard from him again. As a ferret enthusiast, can you offer an explanation for this? Are clothed ferrets some sort of secret signal for, "you're not as cute when you're not all sweaty?" Sincerely, Still Puzzled

I take my ferret to Decatur sometimes. He's never really played with another ferret, sometimes I feel guilty that he doesn't have any ferret buddies. Your ferret looks like a cutie pie.
Hello, Your request is not strange at all. I have been looking to do the same. But it does not seem anyone in the area is willing, or advertising for such. I wish I could do a ferret playdate with my ferret. He is a great ferret. Did you have any success. Melissa
