Lust List 2009: Jason

" width=

Our Lust List 2009 countdown continues with Jason, a waiter at Thumbs Up Diner on Marietta Street. Over the past week, we've given you a sneak peak of one Lust Lister each day — in anticipation of our Valentine's Day issue, which hits the streets and the web TOMORROW.

Find out whether your crush made the cut — and don't miss our celebration of the most underappreciated gods and goddesses of Atlanta's service industry.

Jason

Age: 28

Status: Single

Jason was gentlemanly enough to allow our Lust List team to interrupt him in the middle of a lunch shift for a photo shoot. He was worried about being a little too sweaty. Rest assured, Jason, that's nothing to worry about.

What’s the last book you read?

The Alchemist.

Name one band from the past you wish you’d seen live.

Bob Marley and the Wailers.

What’s your favorite article of clothing?

My Cameroon jersey.

What's your worst vice?

I don’t know if I can put that in Creative Loafing.

What would you do with $100,000?

I’d put half away for my daughter. She’s 19 months. With the rest, I’d pay bills, catch up on everything, give my mom some money.

Choose between the following superpowers: flight or invisibility.

Definitely invisibility. That would be hot. Sometimes, it’s good to be a fly on the wall.

Name three foods that are part of your regular diet.

Pizza, fish and beer.

What’s the worst thing someone can do on a date?

Maybe drink too much.

What’s the weirdest way someone has asked you out?

One time this girl gave me a $10 tip on a $3 order. So then the next time she came in, obviously I was nice to her. It worked — we went out for a little bit.

If you could live in any movie, which would it be?

Shottas. It’ a  Jamaican movie.

If you could live in any decade, which would it be?

I’d say the ’70s. It seemed like a cool time to live — disco and all that kind of stuff.

What will your friends think of you being on Lust List?

Some of them definitely will give me a hard time.

What’s the best place in Atlanta to show out-of-towners?

Little Five Points, East Atlanta, Magic City.

If you could change anything about Atlanta, what would it be?

Add some palm trees and a beach.

What do you wish someone would hurry up and invent?

A money tree.

What is the most attractive feature of the opposite sex?

The eyes.

Why?

‘Cause I can’t say ass.
