Hawks no match for Lebron James

Any semblance of hope for your Atlanta Hawks was quickly erased during last night’s victory by one Lebron James and his Cleveland Cavaliers. If the Hawks thought they’d be able to play the underdog card, they did not pay close attention to the Cavs-Pistons series, where James and his crew crushed the once-dominant team from the Motor City.

James had 47 points, 12 assists and 8 rebounds. So dominant were the Cavs as a team, however that in fact, last night’s game was their NBA-record seventh-consecutive double-digit playoff victory. Ouch.

With the Cavs up 3-0 in the best-of-seven, King “MVP” James will surely be looking to close out the deal tomorrow night. Even so, there can’t be nothing but collective pats on the back as the Hawks have established themselves as a strong playoff team. Maybe next year Hawks fans.
