News Air Loaf: Presumption of guilt

CL's Chanté LaGon and Mara Shalhoup discuss this week's cover story about Zach Higgins, a young man who was convicted of rape and sentenced to 35 years in prison even with testimony from four witnesses that the alleged victim had verbally admitted that the sexual encounter was consensual. Shalhoup explores the question of whether or not Higgins would have been convicted if a prior charge from his past had not been allowed into court under Georgia’s “bent of mind” rule.

A travesty for sure but this little clip contained nothing that isn't found in the article. It would have been nice to hear a legal expert weigh-in if the stretching of the "bent of mind" rule might have any impact on the appeal. Is Air Loaf just a five minute radio ad for CL?
